On-Call Nurse

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Weekend On-Call Nurse to provide exceptional patient care for a Home Plus setting. We offer a set rate for each day of being on call and an additional hourly rate if you are called in. Duties Respond promptly to calls from CMAs for patient assessments, triage, and urgent care. Perform comprehensive physical examinations and vital sign assessments to evaluate patient conditions accurately. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions thoroughly and accurately. Support infection control practices and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Qualifications Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) in the state of Kansas with current certification. Excellent assessment skills with the ability to handle acute pain management and emergency situations confidently. Ability to work independently during on-call shifts while maintaining high standards of patient safety and care quality.
