- Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification. Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire. Preferred
