  • Providing focused, episodic care, from pre-op prep, to intra-procedural monitoring and administration of sedation/analgesia, to post-op recovery and patient/family education, for a variety of adult and pediatric patients, accommodating both the in-patient and out-patient populations, requiring radiological exams and or interventional procedures, as well as responding to emergency care call?

  • Current Michigan licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Four (4) of the last seven (7) years experience in ED, Interventional Radiology, ICU, PACU, SWAT or Survival Flight ? OR ? Current employee as a CSR nurse in the Diagnostic or Interventional Radiology Department ACLS certification required In order to be considered for this position the applicant must have met or will have met all the required qualifications prior to the start date of employment.

  • Pediatric experience Demonstrated focused physical assessment, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, charge nurse role and/or preceptor experience. Demonstrated professional responsibility and accountability. Float experience. BSN Ability to demonstrate independent decision making in the care of a wide variety of patients, including, but not limited to, potentially hemodynamically unstable patients and/or airway or respiratory compromised patients. Proficient in IV skills both in Adult & Pediatric populations as evidenced by feedback from others/evaluation. Demonstrated ability to work in a less structured environment by feedback from others/evaluation. Demonstrated flexibility in meeting unanticipated demands and priorities of various patient populations as evidenced by feedback from others/evaluation. posting is posted as Nursing Framework LEVEL C. Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire. Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level F. shifts per week Weekends are required for this position. Weekend call may be required. Holiday on-call requirements are based on seniority.

Hours for this position may be changed to reflect the activity & needs of the unit. Flexibility in scheduling is required. Schedule will include rotation to all current and future site locations. All new employees will be expected to float to a designated unit(s) in times of low census.
