About Us:
At Amity Health Group, we are committed to providing high-quality, personalized in-home care. As a growing agency expanding into Arizona, we are building a team that embodies compassion, integrity, and excellence. We are currently seeking a part time Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our medical and non-medical care services across Maricopa County.
Position Summary:
The Director of Nursing will assist the Administrator in overseeing our operations and help to ensure the highest standard of care for our clients. This leadership role requires a seasoned RN with home health and/or home care experience who can lead, manage, and grow a clinical team while also handling direct patient care when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the delivery of all client care services, ensuring compliance with state regulations and agency standards. Conduct and supervise initial assessments, care plan development, and ongoing case management. Supervise, support, and evaluate Home Health Aides and Nurses. Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation, including OASIS and ICD-10 usage. Serve as the primary point of contact for physicians and interdisciplinary care teams. Monitor clinical performance and participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives. Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training clinical staff. Participate in case conferences and lead performance reviews. Respond to urgent matters and client needs, including after-hours on-call support.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Active RN license in the state of Arizona, in good standing. Minimum 2 years of home health or acute care experience required; leadership experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of home health regulations, clinical best practices, and documentation standards (OASIS, ICD-10). Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to travel throughout Maricopa County; reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
Compensation & Schedule:
Pay:
$40,000-$45,000 / annually, starting, with opportunity for growth
