JOB SUMMARY

Provides service to clients in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, Agency policy, and accepted professional standards of practice. The Registered Nurse provides nursing services utilizing a comprehensive base of nursing theory and nursing process and communicates/documents observations and assessments.

Qualifications:

• Graduated of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Utah.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of one year experience in an acute care setting or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

Provide care to patients in their homes in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act and Agency Policy. Caregiving to Home Health and Hospice patients while adhering to Aspire standards. Electronic charting timely with compliance. Initiates actions to improve the quality of patient care. Takes appropriate actions independently and responsively in home care situations. Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for clients and coworkers. Communicating with supervisors, coworkers, families, and facilities at all times.

Requirements:

Licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state and agency requirements. Willing to travel within agency's service areas. Basic computer skills. Punctual and organized. CPR card, Driver's license and automobile insurance needed. Must complete a criminal background check. Pay depends on experience. Pay is per admission visit plus bonus's.
