Registered Nurse Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for 2nd & 3rd shift to join our healthcare team. As an essential member of our medical staff, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. We are a 69-bed non-profit skilled nursing facility with in-house therapy staff. At Hattie Ide Chaffee, we pride ourselves on the care that we provide for our residents and their families. Our staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. We are seeking a full-time and part-time 2nd & 3rd shift RN who is reliable, caring , and compassionate to join our team.

Duties:

• Conduct patient assessments and provide nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Assist in medical procedures, including IV insertions and wound care
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
• Provide education and support to patients and their families

Requirements:

Applicant must hold an active State license/registration to practice as an RN. Must be available to work weekend/holiday rotation Minimum of one years of nursing experience Ability to supervise and work well with other personnel required. Caring, respectful attitude towards residents required. Qualities of maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with others required

Experience:

• Valid RN license in Rhode Island
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
• Proficiency in patient assessment and anatomy
• Experience working in fast-paced healthcare environments
• Strong skills in medical records management
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
