Key Qualifications:

Active RN license in the state Prior experience in school nursing, pediatric care, or 1:1 student support preferred Demonstrated knowledge of seizure care protocols and emergency response Adaptability, excellent communication skills, and a caring, patient manner

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver dedicated 1:1 nursing care for a student during scheduled school hours (Wednesdays and Fridays, 7:30am - 2:00pm) Monitor and assist the student within the classroom, during community outings, and at work activities, ensuring their safety and well-being Remain vigilant for changes in the student's health status and respond swiftly in the event of a seizure or medical emergency, following established protocols Collaborate with school teams to support the student's inclusion and participation in all activities Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of care provided and communicate effectively with caregivers and educational staff Enjoy the rewarding experience of making a positive impact in a student's daily life, all while balancing a flexible weekday schedule.
