A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Job Description
Key Requirements:
Current, active RN license Experience with school-aged children (preferred) Proficient in caring for ventilator and G-tube dependent students Ability to monitor/manage skin integrity and fragile bones Commitment to student safety and well-being Willingness to ride the bus daily and provide care throughout the school day Comfortable with assistive communication devices (e.g., iPad) Compassion, adaptability, and strong communication skillsResponsibilities:
Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care on the bus and throughout the school day Administer medications, manage G-tube feedings, and monitor ventilator support Care for skin issues and fragile bones with expert attention Partner with educators, therapy staff, and family to achieve student health goals Encourage safe peer and academic participation Document care and communicate updates as neededBenefits:
