Davies is now hiring a Long-term Health Career Instructor Sub for School Year 2026-2027! This position will go from August 2026- 11/1/2026. These are anticipated dates, which are subject to change.

Qualifications-RI Teacher Certification:

Health Occupations or certificate eligible-Registered Nurse experience required-Teaching experience preferred-Masters degree preferred-Such alternatives to the above qualifications as may be appropriate and acceptableEssential Duties/Responsibilities-Develop and implement an effective Health Careers program, including theory and labs that facilitate meaningful learning in the core competencies of the curriculum-Maintain student record, including grades, attendance, and performance measures that assess and improve student learning-Foster a safe and productive learning environment-Facilitate program advisory board meetings-Support student career readiness and Work-Based Learning experiences-Maintain knowledge of best practices in and current industry standards-Perform other duties as assigned Skills & Understanding Required-Communicates and collaborates effectively with students, families, and colleagues -Know and understand industry recognized credentials and industry standardsPhysical Demands-The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
