We are partnering with a school district in Providence County, RI to hire a Registered Nurse (RN) for the 2026-2027 school year . This is a full-time opportunity working Monday through Friday during school hours, providing one-on-one nursing support at the middle school level. You will play a vital role in supporting a student with medical needs, working closely with the educational team to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.

Approx. 6:20-7:40 AM and 2:00-4:00 PM.

Responsibilities:
Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing coverage for an assigned student during the school day and related transitions. Track the student's health status throughout the day and act promptly when changes are observed. Give medications as ordered and operate/support required medical equipment during the school day. Respond to urgent medical situations and follow appropriate emergency procedures. Help ensure the student can safely take part in learning activities while receiving needed clinical support.
Qualifications:
Active Rhode Island Registered Nurse (RN) license. Ability to support a medically complex student requiring ventilator support. Ability to support enteral (G-tube) feeding needs as required during the day. Ability to assist with transfers that may require a two-person lift when needed. Ability to monitor and help manage skin breakdown and other fragile medical considerations.
