A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Summary:
Coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary approach in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Provides comprehensive care for the life span of patients, where applicable. Effectively delivers patient care through Nursing Process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Implementation and Evaluation. Graduate of an Accredited School or College of Nursing Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island or a multi-state compact license BLS from the AHA Current, active NRP certification One year of L/D experience and fetal monitoring certification required Minimum of 1 year acute care nursing experience required
Pay Range:
$35.20- $50.00 What does SCH have to offer?! Robust benefits package SCH in network = zero dollars towards deductibles and most services are covered in full Evening and weekend differentials 7p-11p: $1.50 extra/hour 11p-7a: $3 extra/hour
Weekend:
