Serving as the dedicated Health Room nurse at a dynamic secondary campus, you will enjoy a professional environment with your own nurse's office. As an integral resource for students, you will help ensure a safe and healthy learning experience, making a real impact every day. Bring your expertise as an RN or Certified School Nurse (CSN) and provide vital care in a school setting through a contract assignment ending on June 17. Desired Qualifications:
Valid RN license or Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential Prior experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting Confident with medication administration and basic first aid Strong communication and rapport-building skills with youth Ability to work independently and professionally in a school environment
Key Responsibilities:
Operate the Health Room, providing assessment and care for students who are ill or injured Administer medications according to physician orders and school protocols Maintain accurate health records and manage confidential information Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff Promote a healthy, safe school environment through preventive care and education Experience the satisfaction of being a trusted health advocate for students, with the support of a vibrant school community.
