A part-time Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse is needed to serve one elementary school, helping ensure every students well-being and safety. This contract role begins as soon as possible and runs through June 20th, offering consistent weekday hours to fit your schedule.

Key Qualifications:

Active RN or LPN license in Rhode Island Experience in pediatric or school-based nursing is advantageous Familiarity with common conditions in elementary-aged children Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently Comfort working independently within a school setting Strong communication and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver daily nursing care, including first aid and medication administration for elementary school students Monitor and manage student health plans and update records as necessary Communicate professionally with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers Educate students and faculty on health topics, hygiene, and wellness Contribute to a positive, nurturing learning environment Collaborate with school teams and participate in student health assessments
