Job Description
Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Contract Step into a vital emergency care role providing expert support to patients in a dynamic environment. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work night shifts (36 or 48 hours per week, no on-call responsibilities), with a 13-week commitment. Orientation sessions start every other weekend, allowing an effective transition for incoming clinicians.
Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted RN license, eligible through the compact system for RI Valid BLS and ACLS certifications Strong experience in Level One trauma centers (required) Previous emergency room nursing experience Ability to think critically and act quickly in crisis situations Highly adaptable and collaborative mindsetResponsibilities:
Provide urgent, evidence-based nursing care to patients experiencing a wide range of acute conditions Triage, assess, and prioritize patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting Work collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to implement care plans Operate and monitor medical equipment, recognize changes in patient status, and respond appropriately Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with hospital protocols Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely patient recordsAdditional Details:
