•Bluffton, South Carolina Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Office-Based with Patient Home Visits BrightStar Care is a private duty home care agency committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to clients in the comfort of their own homes. We are seeking an experienced and clinically skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Bluffton team. This position is ideal for an RN who enjoys a combination of clinical nursing, patient assessment, care coordination, and skilled nursing oversight . The RN will work primarily from our Bluffton office during regular Monday-Friday business hours, with occasional travel to patients' homes to provide assessments and skilled nursing care. Position Responsibilities Oversee and monitor the skilled nursing side of the business , ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with established standards of care. Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop appropriate care plans based on each patient's needs. Conduct in-home nursing visits when needed to assess patients, provide skilled care, and monitor changes in condition. Provide and/or oversee IVIG infusion therapy and other skilled nursing services as appropriate. Provide wound care , including assessment and treatment Manage and provide care related to bowel and bladder regimens . Provide and/or oversee tube feeding and enteral nutrition care. Review and ensure accurate nursing documentation and care records. Help ensure that nursing services are delivered in accordance with applicable regulations, professional standards, and BrightStar Care policies. Participate in quality assurance and ongoing clinical oversight of skilled cases. Occasionally travel to patients' homes within the service area to provide nursing assessments and hands-on skilled care. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with a compact/multistate license valid in South Carolina and Georgia. Minimum of 2 years of professional nursing experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills. Experience with IVIG/infusion therapy strongly preferred. Experience with wound care, tube feeding, and bowel/bladder management preferred. Home health, private duty, skilled nursing, or case management experience is a plus. Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Comfortable traveling to patient homes when clinical needs require. Schedule Full-Time | Monday-Friday The primary work location is our Bluffton office , during regular office hours. The position also includes occasional travel to patients' homes for nursing assessments, skilled care, and clinical oversight. Why Join BrightStar Care?
