What they do
A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description
Qualifications and Experience:
Active, unencumbered RN license Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Medical-Surgical nursing Recent experience in a Cardiac Stepdown or progressive care/telemetry environment preferred Current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong critical thinking and assessment skills Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams Excellent documentation and communication abilitiesSchedule and Commitment:
Contract assignment - flexible length based on facility needs Must be able to commit to full duration of the contract Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as neededKey Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical and Cardiac Stepdown setting Monitor, assess, and document patients' vital signs, symptoms, and progress Administer medications and manage IV therapies according to physician orders Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff for optimal care delivery Educate patients and their families on disease management, recovery, and ongoing careWhat We Offer:
