Job Title:
Registered Nurse (RN) - Medicaid Home Care Services (Paid Per Case) Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to support Medicaid clients within our non-medical home care organization. The RN will provide clinical oversight, complete required assessments, develop care plans, and ensure services align with Medicaid guidelines and state regulations. This role focuses on supervisory and care coordination responsibilities rather than direct hands-on skilled nursing services. This position is compensated on a per-case basis and is ideal for an RN seeking flexible scheduling and supplemental income. Key Responsibilities Conduct initial and ongoing nursing assessments for Medicaid clients in their homes Complete required supervisory visits per Medicaid and state guidelines Develop, review, and update individualized care plans Provide clinical oversight of non-medical caregivers (e.g., personal care aides, home health aides) Monitor client condition and report significant changes to physicians and/or case managers Coordinate care with Medicaid service coordinators, healthcare providers, and family members Ensure documentation meets all Medicaid, state, and company compliance standards Provide caregiver training and competency validation as needed Participate in quality assurance activities Compensation Structure Paid per completed case/visit Competitive per-assessment and per-supervisory-visit rates Mileage reimbursement (if applicable) Flexible caseload based on availability Compensation details will be discussed during the interview process. Qualifications Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience (home health or community-based experience preferred) Knowledge of Medicaid waiver programs preferred Strong assessment and documentation skills Ability to work independently and manage schedule efficiently Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Current CPR certification Work Schedule Flexible, case-based scheduling PRN/contractor-style role No guaranteed hours; caseload varies based on referrals Equal Opportunity Statement We are an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to providing high-quality, community-based care services.
