Key Qualifications:
Current RN license in good standing Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a Medical-Surgical (RN-MS) setting Prior work in a cardiac stepdown or telemetry unit strongly preferred Proficiency with electronic health records and strong clinical assessment skills Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in high-acuity settings
Schedule and Expectations:
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care Monitor and assess cardiac stepdown patients, responding promptly to any changes Administer medications, implement interventions, and perform necessary treatments Educate patients and families regarding care plans, cardiac procedures, and ongoing recovery Accurately document assessments and care provided, in line with organizational standards Support patient transitions to higher or lower levels of care as needed Why Consider This Opportunity?
