Schedule/Hours:
Typical shifts based on facility operating room schedules Opportunities for overtime depending on caseload
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted RN license Current BLS and ACLS certifications At least one year recent experience in an operating room (OR) setting Proficiency with perioperative procedures and sterile technique Effective communication and teamwork skills Adaptable to new environments and fast-paced assignments
Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms and ensure adherence to aseptic techniques Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver optimal patient care throughout procedures Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery Maintain accurate, timely documentation Implement physician orders and respond swiftly to emergencies Educate patients and families on surgical processes and post-operative care
