Qualifications:

Current unrestricted RN license Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Medical-Surgical (MS) nursing Demonstrated expertise in wound assessment, treatment, and management BLS certification (required) Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Effective communication and collaboration abilities Experience with electronic health records preferred

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients, implementing individualized care plans Perform wound assessments, develop wound care protocols, and deliver evidence-based interventions Monitor patient progress and adjust care accordingly Document observations, treatments, and responses accurately Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to ensure optimal care continuity Educate patients and caregivers on wound prevention and management strategies Uphold infection prevention and safety standards throughout patient care
