In this role, you'll work collaboratively with other district professionals, student families, and related service staff to ensure that every student receives the care and support necessary to succeed.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current, valid Registered Nurse licensure in South Carolina Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued Demonstrated experience in pediatric care Proven ability to manage tracheostomies (Trachs) Competence with G-tube management, including suctioning and tube feeding Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Able to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver nursing care at an elementary school site, fostering a safe and healthy environment for students Handle daily office nursing tasks such as wound care, vital sign monitoring, and medication administration Consistently document, monitor, and communicate student health status to families and team members Collaborate with the broader educational team to promote student achievement and well-being
