[Full-time/part-time/PRN; day or night shift] Position summary American Detox & Treatment Center is seeking an RN or LPN to care for adults receiving inpatient detox and residential substance use treatment. Nursing staff monitor patients through withdrawal, administer medications and treatments as ordered, recognize changes in condition, and communicate promptly with medical providers. The nurse also helps maintain a safe, organized, and supportive treatment environment. Responsibilities Complete nursing assessments and ongoing monitoring within the scope of the nurse's license and facility policies. Monitor withdrawal symptoms, vital signs, mental status, and response to treatment; use facility-approved tools such as CIWA-Ar and COWS when indicated. Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and applicable nursing standards. Recognize and promptly escalate signs of complicated withdrawal, oversedation, medical instability, psychiatric crisis, or other urgent concerns. Receive and document provider orders and approvals accurately, including the date and time, and communicate changes during shift handoff. Maintain accurate medication administration records, nursing notes, and other required documentation. Follow medication security procedures, including proper receipt, storage, counting, and handling of controlled substances. Provide patient education about medications, withdrawal, safety, and recovery. Work closely with providers, therapists, case management, and other staff to coordinate care and discharge needs. Follow infection prevention, emergency response, confidentiality, and facility safety policies. Qualifications Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in South Carolina. Current CPR certification; additional emergency response training as required by the facility. Experience in detox, substance use treatment, behavioral health, emergency care, or other acute clinical settings preferred. Ability to assess changes in condition, respond calmly to emergencies, and communicate clearly with providers and the next shift. Strong attention to medication safety and documentation. Ability to meet applicable background screening and facility training requirements. Pay:

$28.00 - $34.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 per week
