In this role, you'll work collaboratively with other district professionals, student families, and related service staff to ensure that every student receives the care and support necessary to succeed.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active, valid Registered Nurse license in South Carolina Prior experience in a school environment strongly preferred Pediatric nursing background required Skilled in working with tracheostomies (Trachs) Experience with G-tube care, including suctioning and tube feeds Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care within an elementary school setting Manage daily office nursing tasks such as medication administration, wound care, and monitoring vital signs Accurately document student health progress and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders Partner with educators and staff to foster a supportive, health-focused environment for student achievement
