Certified Nursing Assisant- Long Term Care

Make a difference every day. Fall River Health Services is looking for a compassionate, dependable CNA to join our team in Hot Springs, SD! In this hands-on role, you'll support patients with daily care needs, assist nurses with basic procedures, and help keep our care environment clean, safe, and supportive. The Salary for this position starts at $20.00 and goes up from there based on experience.

What You'll Do:

Assist patients with daily activities: bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility Take and record vital signs, weights, and fluid intake/output Support nurses with basic care procedures and specimen collection Help prepare patient rooms for admissions and discharges Provide compassionate care in our ER and inpatient settings Maintain patient dignity, comfort, and safety at all times

Required Skills/Abilities:

Must be able to fulfill the expectations of this position as indicated in the measures of effectiveness and meet the physical requirements of the position as defined in this role summary. Mechanical lifts, telephone equipment, carts, wheel chairs, positioning devices, mechanical beds, resident beds, thermometers (digital, glass, tympanic), stethoscope, blood pressure equipment and other resident care equipment as deemed necessary. Support Fall River Health Services vision and mission. Maintain confidentiality of all work information. Demonstrate an ability to function successfully in a team environment. Exhibit courteous, compassionate and respectful treatment of internal and external customers. Displays a positive attitude and flexibility in changing situations. Participates in identifying problems and suggesting solutions.

Education and Experience:

Must have certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant through the South Dakota Board of Nursing or Must have current South Dakota Certification Fall River Health Services (FRHS) is a comprehensive healthcare system, which services Fall River County and the surrounding areas in the beautiful Southern Black Hills of South Dakota . We are comprised of a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, 24-hour Emergency Department, Seven Sisters Living Center (LTC), in-house Rural Health Clinic plus ancillary services.
