Full-Time Make a Meaningful Difference in Rural Healthcare A community-focused critical access hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join its dedicated healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys providing comprehensive patient care in a collaborative environment where every team member makes a meaningful impact. You'll care for patients across acute care, swing bed, and emergency services, allowing you to utilize a broad range of clinical skills while serving a close-knit rural community. What You'll Do Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in acute care, swing bed, and emergency settings. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition. Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately. Coordinate patient care with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Respond effectively to emergency situations using sound clinical judgment. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient safety standards. Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on exceptional patient care. What We're Looking For Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Dakota or eligibility for licensure. Strong assessment, clinical, and documentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in acute care, emergency room, or swing bed nursing. Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities. Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment. Passion for serving rural communities.
