Travel RN-ICU jobs in Rapid City, SD let you deliver critical care in a facility with a collaborative culture and advanced technology. Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, a valid South Dakota RN license or Compact RN license, and Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications. At least 1.5 to 2 years of recent ICU experience and Epic EMR proficiency are required. Recommended skills include experience with IV medications, ventilator management, telemetry, and strong critical thinking. Cardiac experience and familiarity with Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) are preferred. 1 Reference in the last 12 months perm address over 250 miles from Rapid City SD EPIC skills skills checklist within 12 mos Reference dated within 12 mos for job worked within 5 yrs Complex ICU patients ranging from surgical, medical, cardiac (preferred), neuro and trauma Diagnoses include but are not limited to: ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID, s/p cardiac cath, post-surgical, multiple system trauma - heavy trauma population previous travel required
