  • Shift Details:
  • + Days
  • 0600-1800 + Typically 3x12 hour shifts/week. + Schedule to be determined by facility needs.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • + Monitor inmate/resident hospitalizations and medical conditions.
+ Supervise and guide nursing and medical staff. + Coordinate with facility staff, healthcare providers, and outside agencies. + Ensure compliance with healthcare, correctional, pharmacy, and safety policies. + Review medical records for accurate documentation and appropriate services. + Monitor pharmacy use and controlled substances. + Provide health education and counseling. + Maintain confidentiality and security of medical records. + Prepare required reports, records, and incident documentation. + Support NCCHC, ACA, and JCAHO accreditation requirements. + Prepare safety and incident reports and respond appropriately to emergencies.
  • Minimum Qualifications
  • + Current, valid, and unrestricted TN license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
+ Minimum of one (1) year/s of recent experience as an RN + A degree from an accredited school of Nursing + BLS through American Heart Association or equivalent + Additional certifications may be required + Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required. + Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .
BLS, N95
fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
