1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool position requiring prior travel experience and TN or compact RN license. Details Med/Surg Float Pool within a hospital setting Floats across 5 Med/Surg units as needed, with additional floating to the ER Adult patient population (18+) with general medical-surgical needs Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:6 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a, 36 hours per week No block schedule offered; must remain flexible to meet unit staffing needs Weekend shifts required Unit creates the schedule Uses Cerner EMR Requirements Active RN license (TN or Compact) required Current BLS certification Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Additional Information Scrub color required: Navy No time off approved from 9/19 through 10/17 due to Epic Go Live Orientation available only on specific dates: 10/12, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, or 11/16 Local candidates accepted, with a 75-mile radius rule determining eligibility for the travel rate
