Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - Cath Lab Job Type Contract Seeking experienced registered nurses to support a high-volume Cath Lab for an assignment. Successful candidates will provide specialized nursing care for adult patients in a dynamic cardiovascular setting, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal outcomes. Surgical scrubs are provided, and the EMR systems in use include Cerner and Merge.
Schedule/Hours:
8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday (6:45 AM - 3:15 PM) Rotating call required; no block scheduling is available Schedule is determined by unit needs; flexibility is essential No time off approved between 9/19-10/17 due to
Epic Go Live Qualifications:
Current TN or multistate RN license on file at time of submission BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab nursing experience Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred Proficiency in working with adult populations, including patients aged 18 and above Experience with advanced cardiac assistive devices and interventions (such as Impella, Pacer, ICD implantation, Shockwave, Penumbra) Ability to adapt to unit-assigned schedules and participate in call rotation as required
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care to cardiovascular patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures Operate and monitor specialized equipment used for patient interventions and support Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective clinical care Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including documentation and infection control standards Respond rapidly to emergencies and assist with urgent cardiac interventions
