A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description
Duties :
Perform various nursing procedures and treatments, including but not limited to spinal taps, ostomy care, airway management, gastric lavage, dermal fillers, and esthetic laser treatments. Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions or side effects. Provide specialized care for patients with special needs, such as those with dementia or other cognitive impairments. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and medical imaging findings. Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality of medical records. Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures. Utilize electronic health record systems (e.g., Athenahealth) to input and retrieve patient data.Experience :
Must be a registered nurse with a valid license in the state of employment. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of medical procedures and terminology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
