1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI Lab position at a Level I Trauma Center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and at least one completed prior travel assignment. Details Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level I Trauma Center GI Lab unit Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (5x8s) On-call shifts required as needed Weekend work required as needed Block scheduling is not available Cerner EMR experience preferred Floating between like units and campuses within 20 miles may be required, though cross-campus floating is rare Requirements Active RN license — TN state license or Compact (NLC) license required; no pending licensure accepted Minimum 2 years of GI Lab RN experience required; 3+ years preferred ADN or higher required Level I Trauma Center experience required Large hospital experience preferred At least one completed prior travel assignment required — first-time travelers are not accepted (exception: candidates with 3+ years of recent experience may be considered) Valid driver's license required for consideration Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of initial consideration; RTO will not be approved if not submitted upfront Holiday coverage required: if Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's fall within the assignment, traveler must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3; if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment, at least 1 must be worked Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must be separated from the facility for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
