1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Float Pool RN with at least 2 years of acute care experience and Cerner EMR proficiency. Details Acute Care Float position with unit assignments determined by the nursing supervisor at the time of staffing Floats across multiple units including Medical, Surgery/GI, Trauma, Observation, Oncology, Nephrology, Ortho, Joint Replacement, Neuro, Vascular, Pulmonary, Cardiac Surgery, and Cardiac Day shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break Typical patient ratio of 1:6, varying according to need Requires working every other weekend No on-call responsibilities Requirements Active, unencumbered TN or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of experience in a comparable acuity hospital setting required Prior experience with Cerner EMR required Two professional references required for consideration Additional Information Provide direct patient care across a variety of acute care units as assigned by nursing supervisors Royal blue scrubs required First-time travelers will be considered Local candidates accepted at the same rate Previous travelers in good standing are eligible to return Travel pairs are permitted
