Position Summary:
Conducts clinical reviews for all payers using established review criteria to ensure appropriate level-of-care determinations. Collaborates with physicians to secure orders for status changes when indicated. Maintains accurate worklists and comprehensive documentation across multiple platforms. Effectively explains MOON and Code 44 notices to patients and families at the bedside. Provides timely admission notifications to payers through telephone, fax, and electronic portal submissions. Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary care teams to facilitate efficient patient throughput and optimize patient flow throughout the healthcare system.
Position Qualification:
Current RN license in the state of TN
BSN required
UR experience preferred
