Job Description

Willow Ridge Center, a Genesis HealthCare skilled nursing and rehab facility in Kingston, TN, seeks an RN to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care. The RN will provide clinical assessments, medication administration, and care coordination for short-term rehab, long-term care, and memory care residents. Responsibilities include supervising CNAs, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and supporting quality and safety initiatives. Responsibilities Provide direct bedside nursing care to skilled nursing and long-term care residents following care plans and clinical protocols Administer medications and treatments, monitor resident status, and document assessments and interventions accurately in the EMRCollaborate with physicians, therapists, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate and optimize resident care Educate residents and families on care plans, medications, and health management with a focus on dignity and respect Supervise and support CNAs, ensuring safe practices, infection control, and adherence to facility policies Respond promptly to changes in resident condition, perform assessments, and escalate concerns to providers as needed Participate in care conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance activities Maintain a safe, inclusive, and person-centered environment aligned with Willow Ridge Center and Genesis Health Care standards Required Skills Clinical assessment Medication administration Wound care Care planning Electronic medical records (EMR) documentation Infection control IV therapy Patient and family education Interdisciplinary team collaboration Supervision of CNAs
