Staff Development Coordinator/Infection Control Nurse Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staffing Development Coordinator/Infection Control Nurse to join our team at Millington Healthcare in Millington, TN. As a key member of our healthcare facility, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest levels of patient care and infection control standards. Responsibilities Staffing Development Coordinator :
Collaborate with nursing leadership to develop and implement staffing strategies to ensure adequate staffing levels and optimize patient care outcomes.
Infection Control Nurse :
Conduct surveillance and monitoring of infection control practices, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement corrective actions to prevent and control infections. Develop and implement education programs for staff on infection control practices, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify and address areas for improvement. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to infection control and patient safety. Requirements Current RN license in the state of Tennessee Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field 1-2 years of experience in infection control or a related field Strong understanding of infection control principles and practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Why Join Millington Healthcare?
