The Waters of Springfield is hiring a Wound Care Nurse $10,000 Sign on
Bonus Position:
Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN)
Location:
Springfield, TN About the Role We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Wound Care Nurse to join our clinical team. This role is ideal for a nurse who excels in assessment, treatment planning, and patient education related to acute and chronic wounds. You'll collaborate closely with providers, interdisciplinary team members, and caregivers to ensure high‑quality, evidence‑based wound care. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Provide advanced wound care, including dressing changes, debridement (if within scope), and infection prevention Document assessments, interventions, and progress accurately and promptly Educate patients, families, and staff on wound prevention and care techniques Participate in care planning, quality improvement initiatives, and interdisciplinary meetings Maintain compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and best‑practice standards Qualifications Current RN or LPN license in TN Wound care certification (WCC, CWCN, or similar) preferred but not required Strong clinical assessment and critical‑thinking skills Excellent communication and patient‑education abilities Experience in wound care, long‑term care, home health, or acute care is a plus What We Offer Competitive pay and benefits Opportunities for continuing education and certification support A collaborative, supportive clinical environment Career growth within a mission‑driven organization Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
