1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and a TN or compact RN license. Details Work in the Medical Surgical Combination unit of a 198-bed acute and skilled care hospital 44-bed unit with a 1:6 patient ratio Serves patients of all ages Uses Meditech EHR, experience required Shift runs 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Every other weekend required, totaling 24 weekend hours Floating required as needed On-call as needed, with a required arrival time of 30 minutes to 1 hour if called in Requirements Active RN license (TN or Compact) required Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration AHA certifications required Additional Information Level II trauma center Provide Med/Surg nursing care to a diverse patient population Professional demeanor expected Scrubs of any color permitted, no casual wear or hoodies allowed Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rate Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment Weekly orientation held on Mondays
