Yesterday Job Description Sub nurses will: assist the Campus RN when needed act as Campus Nurse when Nurse is absentQualifications:
Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program Valid license to practice professional nursing in Texas from the State Board of Nurse Examiners Certified by Texas Department of Health to conduct vision and hearing screening CPR CertificationSpecial Knowledge/Skills:
Physical, mental, social & emotional nursing assessment skills Nursing skills and knowledge specific to pediatric nursing Ability to develop student specific case management plans for chronic and acute medical conditions. Work autonomously in school clinical setting Other Substitutes are eligible to elect benefits once worked average of 10 hours a week over first 90 days serving in a Substitute capacity. Substitute pay will reflect FICA and income tax withholdings based on the W-4. - You will receive an email to have your fingerprints taken by TEA. This email will come after the welcome email should you not have prints on file with TEA. This will come from Identogo, not Aledo ISD.
- You will attend one of our orientations, an invite to the next one will be sent to you to RSVP.
- When we have received clear fingerprint results, and you have attended orientation, verbal references will be obtained.
- When digital and verbal references have been received we will send your application for approval to hire as a substitute.
- If approved you will receive paperwork to complete online and then come in to the office to sign final documents and pick up your iIDbadge.
