Position Summary:
Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times. The Standards of Practice set forth by the professional nursing associations provide guidelines for the competent, safe and professional practice. Qualifications Current Texas nursing license, compact license or ATT. Must have AHA CPR and obtain ACLS within 6 months of hire. Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility. Must be able to identify and competently address needs of populations served.
