Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise, a passion for patient-centered care, and the ability to work effectively across diverse medical settings. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care, coordinating treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards to promote optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews. Administer medications and injections accurately while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to acute changes in condition, including critical care situations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Cerner or Epic. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options, medication management, and discharge planning. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols across all clinical activities. Assist with specialized procedures such as IV infusion, catheterization, suturing, wound care, and tube feeding when necessary. Requirements Valid registered nursing license in the state of practice. Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments including hospital medicine, ICU, emergency room, or long-term care settings. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and diagnostic evaluation procedures. Critical care experience preferred, including Level I or Level II trauma center exposure or ICU experience. Skilled in advanced nursing procedures such as sterile processing, laboratory specimen collection, phlebotomy, and ventilator management. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or those requiring memory or dementia care is advantageous. Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced environments such as urgent care or emergency medicine. Additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) are a plus.
