Role Overview:

This position involves providing independent nursing care in a clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of various aspects of patient situations. The nurse will deliver both routine and complex care, develop long-term care plans, and manage contingencies effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of assigned patients. Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. Administer medications and treatments following protocols; monitor for side effects and efficacy. Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided. Assess education needs and provide appropriate patient and family education, resources, and support. Delegate tasks to care team members to ensure optimal patient management.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred. Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
