Full-time Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care for all age groups. Provides care and treatment to ill, injured and recovering patients. Performs general nursing duties within the RN Scope of Practice, and assists in other departments with appropriate supervision. Participates as primary nurse, team member or charge nurse in the planning, implementing and evaluation of patient care as needed. Supervised by Medical Surgical Supervisor.Position Qualifications:
- Current Texas Registered Nurse Licensure required.
- Current BLS for healthcare professionals required at time of hire.
- ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge.
