Your expertise will ensure this young learner's safety and well-being in a nurturing school setting near Cleburne, TX. This position is ideal for an RN seeking a compact schedule while making an extraordinary difference.
Schedule:
Thursdays and Fridays only 7:45 AM - 10:45 AM On Fridays, accompany the student on the bus ride home, then return to the school by bus What we're looking for: Active and unrestricted RN license in Texas Previous pediatric or school-based nursing experience preferred Skilled in managing highly medical needs with proficiency and compassion Excellent communication with staff, families, and young children Ability to adapt quickly to routine changes and maintain composure under pressure Must be comfortable providing direct care and riding the bus with the student as required Key responsibilities: Deliver attentive one-on-one care throughout the morning school hours Monitor and support the child's individualized health plan and respond to medical needs Administer medications, treatments, and emergency care as specified Closely collaborate with educators and family to sustain a safe and inclusive environment Companion the student safely home by bus on Fridays, ensuring continuity of care This position offers a focused schedule that fits perfectly with other commitments—ideal for nurses wishing for meaningful work in a school environment with clear, defined hours and responsibilities.
