Job Description

Aveanna Healthcare seeks a Pediatric LVN to provide high-acuity skilled nursing care for medically fragile children in their homes. In this role, you'll deliver hands-on clinical care, including monitoring complex conditions, managing ventilators or feeding tubes as ordered, and administering medications. You will collaborate with RNs, physicians, and families to follow individualized care plans, document in EMR systems, and respond promptly to changes in patient status. Responsibilities Provide direct high-acuity pediatric nursing care in the home setting Monitor vital signs, respiratory status, and overall patient condition Manage ventilators, tracheostomies, and feeding tubes per care plan Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMRCollaborate with RNs, physicians, and therapists on care plans Educate and support patients' families on daily care and equipment use Follow infection control, safety, and emergency protocols Participate in ongoing training and competency development Required Skills Pediatric nursing High-acuity patient monitoring Ventilator and tracheostomy care G-tube/feeding pump management Medication administration Electronic medical records (EMR) documentation Care planning and coordination Patient and family education Infection control Emergency response and escalation
