Job Description

Aveanna Healthcare seeks a Pediatric RN for high-acuity home health care. In this role, you'll provide skilled nursing to medically fragile children in their homes, including assessments, complex treatments, and close monitoring. You'll collaborate with families and care teams to implement individualized care plans, educate caregivers, and ensure safety and infection control. Responsibilities Provide high-acuity skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in the home setting Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring of medically fragile children Administer medications, treatments, and manage devices such as vents or trachs as ordered Implement and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team Educate and support families and caregivers on pediatric care and equipment use Maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic health records Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and clinical quality standards Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and other clinicians to optimize patient outcomes Required Skills Pediatric nursing High-acuity patient care Ventilator and tracheostomy care Medication administration Care planning Electronic health records (EHR) Patient assessment Family education Infection control Emergency response
