Emergency Relief Truman Smith Children's Care Center:
Job Responsibilities:
Truman W. Smith Children's Care Center is seeking a compassionate Clinical Liaison to support medically complex children requiring specialized long-term care. This role will travel to hospitals and home settings to conduct clinical assessments of pediatric patients being considered for admission. The Clinical Liaison works closely with hospital case managers, discharge planners, physicians, and families to evaluate care needs and facilitate appropriate placement. Responsibilities include reviewing clinical information, assessing children for admission appropriateness, coordinating communication between hospital teams and the facility, and building strong professional relationships with referral partners. Candidates should reside in the Dallas-Fort Worth area or nearby communities and be able to travel extensively.
Qualifications:
RN or LVN preferred Pediatric or complex care experience strongly preferred Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to travel locally to hospitals and home settings Join a mission-driven team dedicated to providing compassionate care for medically fragile children.
