  • Surgery CVOR Registered Nurse, RN (Full Time-Days)
  • Surgery CVOR Robust, Growing Surgery department, is looking for top skilled nurses.

Work Hours:
Full time
  • 40 Hours/week; Monday-Friday 0630-1500
  • On call and Holiday coverage required Surgery Department highlights: Texas Health Dallas has 24 Main OR Suites, 2 Endovascular rooms, 3 Robot rooms, 2 Heart rooms. Fast Paced, High Volume of Open Vascular, Endo Vascular, and Hearts Level I Trauma facility. Strong Minimally Invasive CV program Here's What You Need
  • Associate degree Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
  • BSN (Preferred)
  • 1 Year Experience as a registered nurse in the operating room or completion of an RN OR residency program (Required)
  • CV experience is not required.
  • RN•Registered Nurse (Required upon hire) • BCLS•Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required upon hire) • ACLS•Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Upon hire preferred) What You Will Do • Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process • OR RN Surgery Circulator duties and skills • Assesses the patient • Plans the care of the patient • Intervenes as appropriate • Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions • Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
  • Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
  • Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers. Additional perks of being a Texas Health Nurse
