Registered Nurse (RN) Part-Time Nights

  • Mother Baby for Texas Health Alliance Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Alliance, 10864 Texas Health Trail, Fort Worth, TX 76244 Work hours: Part-time night shift, 24 hours weekly, 2-12 hours shifts, 7:00 pm
  • 7:00 am Mother Baby Unit Department highlights: + Texas Health Alliance is a Baby-friendly and Texas 10-step designated facility.

+ 40-bed Postpartum/Newborn, couplet care + Average between 170 to 200 deliveries per month and increasing volume + 12-bed NICU/Neonatal

ICU + 4 OB/ED

bays + 14-bed LDR's + 2 OR suites Here's What You Need

+ Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required; BSN preferred

+ RN

  • Registered Nurse Upon Hire required + BCLS
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required + NRP
  • Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 Days of hire + CPI
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually within 90 Days of hire + 1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program Req + Mother Baby experience strongly preferred What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process + Assesses the patient + Plans the care of the patient + Intervenes as appropriate + Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions + Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.

+ Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information

+ Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers. Additional perks of being a Texas Health
