Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities Assess patient health status through comprehensive physical examinations, vital sign monitoring, and detailed medical histories. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform suturing with precision following aseptic techniques. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks to document all patient interactions accurately and efficiently. Coordinate care plans for patients with complex needs including critical care, trauma medicine, cardiology procedures such as catheterization, and specialty areas like ophthalmology or hospice & palliative medicine. Support diagnostic evaluations by collecting specimens, processing lab tests, and managing laboratory data in compliance with infection control standards. Provide patient education on treatment plans, medication management, nutrition, and discharge instructions to promote health literacy. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in emergency rooms, ICU settings, long-term care facilities, or outpatient clinics to deliver seamless patient-centered care. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure medical documentation meets NCQA standards for quality assurance. Qualifications Valid nursing license (RN) in good standing with relevant state licensing authorities. Proven experience working in diverse clinical environments such as ICU, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, or outpatient care. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and electronic health records management systems like Epic or Cerner. Experience with specialized procedures including catheterization, dialysis management, ventilator support, ostomy care, or neonatal resuscitation is highly desirable. Critical care experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers preferred; familiarity with trauma medicine and acute pain management is a plus. Ability to perform physical examinations and assessments accurately while demonstrating excellent communication skills. Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a safe clinical environment. Additional experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays enhances your candidacy; pediatric or geriatrics experience is valued too.
