Role Overview:

The Nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing both routine and complex patient care. They demonstrate awareness of various clinical situations, manage long-term goals, and develop contingency plans. The Nurse delegates tasks to care providers to effectively manage patient care and maintains adherence to professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with their practice level. Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided accurately. Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, or caregivers, identifying issues and resources.

Qualifications & Skills:

Preferred Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. At least 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty is preferred. Current BLS certification. Valid RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.

Additional Details:

Work hours are from 7AM to 7PM, with a per diem, as-needed schedule.
